I am hoping that things work out that I can attend the Stone Mountain Games. I have three grandchildren near to Stone Mountain who have yet to experience activities associated with their heritage. I had the other four grandchildren to The Grandfather Mountain Highland Games plus some smaller ones and now they are all wearing kilts and ready to attend more Highland Games. They love competing in the kids events.

jmcneil62, you can easily bring the children to the Celtic, as well if you like. It's pretty kid friendly although there's not a lot for them to do other than eat and visit the little park next door. (Fish in the ponds, so bring fish food if you like.) There's also an ice cream shop across the street.

Your grandchildren will definitely benefit from the Games. I am working on having mine along.

On Firday night, i will expect all the boys to show up in kilts for a photo op at least. The oldest boy is 4, then his brother is 2, and the youngest is 1. I have provided kilts and sporrans for them all, and Big Daddy (that's me!) doesn't ask for much!
