    I had my loud MacLeod for 8 months before I plucked up courage to venture out in it in Scotland in June. It drew very favourable comments and more than the usual number of people asking what tartan it was. The one exception was the man in the touristy whisky shop in Fort William, who said it was a bit lurid for so early in the day.

    Good for you! I wish I could wear kilts to class. We have a pretty strict dress code, but this inspired me to email our dean. I'll be sporting kilts as often as possible if he allows.
