It was a great time for me and for my friend Greg. We competed as the beginners we are in Grade 5 piping - where we play our chanters. I got first place and he got second. It was a little damp later in the day but it was a great day overall. The weather was suitably Scottish there in Scotland. CT.

I don't remember the name of the young lady in the middle but she was registering competitors and was helpful in getting Greg registered at the last minute and she engineered getting us a great drum lesson with Norman McLeod that will benefit our band greatly.

Sorry I missed you guys. I never made it down. My spaniel is just coming out of heat, and as we're leaving for grouse camp in the morning I thought my time would be better spent doing a tune up with her. Glad you all had a good time.
