That is gorgeous. I would wear that all day, every day (if only I could fit in a 42)

Just follow the link and check out the vendor's other sales. Without knowing one way or the other, it looks like value for money to me.

I can't believe I'm saying this, as I normally don't care for the PC or deep pink velvet, but I LOVE that!
It's a pity that it's 1-2 sizes too small for me.

If you look at this seller's "other items" there is a nice red regulation doublet, as well (same size).

Yes I saw that red Regulation Doublet, very nice! But a fuschia velvet Prince Charlie I can live without.
All the jackets I clicked on by that seller were the same size, 42, which is odd. Usually shops have a variety of sizes... unless these were all displayed on mannequins.

Yes, I saw that they were all the same size, which is unfortunate because I am not a 42 Regular! I would have bought a jacket from them (but not the pink PC!) if they had my size available in this sale price.

Yeah, it's too bad these are all in "big boy" sizes. I'm guessing these belonged to a single previous owner or were perhaps custom ordered by someone who didn't pick them up?

I don't know, but I have just re-read some of the sales. Apart from the ones advertised as ex-rental, they all seem to be made by 'Gaelic Themes' and 'New without tags'.
Who knows ...

It appears that Gaelic Themes (selling all things kilt) is housed with J & A Ferguson (a confectionery), R.G. Hardie & Co. Ltd. (a bagpipe maker), TartanWeb Scotland Ltd (which lists itself at 56 Newington Road, Edinburgh but that appears to be an optician) and the contact information lists Scottish Tartan Store (which seems to be an e-bay only shop) - a busy shop to be sure! I checked their address on Google Maps (just plug in 45 Grovepark Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom and it will list all the businesses listed at that address)
