Kilt belt

As to the new kilt straps, are you thinking of sticking with the F-B style or of using buckles? I have the same strap you are wearing in your photograph (and possibly the same sporran, but in mixed black and brown leather). I thought about having another strap/belt made in that style for a fur sporran that I bought, but I could not find anyone locally to make it, and then I found a braided belt that I liked. I think a little tooling on a sporran belt would be very nice.

I think that flyrod was talking about KILT straps and you're confusing that with SPORRAN straps/belt.
