As I said in my first or second post, there are too few of us in kilts in the first place, so I generally frown on anything that divides us. We all have our differences in heritage, religion, alcoholic preference (or lack thereof), etc. I don't think we should let these differences divide us. Rather, they should be incorproated into the whole of kilt-ness, and provide for ways of expanding the boundaries of (for lack of better words) kilt-dom. (There should really be a better word, but I just can't think of one at the moment. Of course, I'm lucky to even be spelling things correctly on this keyboard...) There are too few of us as is. There is no need for any kind of discouragement. We should celebrate who we are and what we wear (or what we don't wear, under certain circumstances).

sorry, was I ranting too much?
