    What kind of chord?

    The albanach article is very interesting and certainly makes a lot of sense.

    I'm wondering what kind of cord would have been used? Cotton, or hemp? or a cloth belt?

    Yet another sewing project to start (sigh).

    for my Belted Plaid(s) i made a drawstring "belt", from the same material - works fine
    waulk softly and carry a big schtick
