Since Shaw is from Macintosh and Farquharson is from Shaw, and they all lived adjacent to each other and next to the Grants, I would say they were implicated also. Plus the fact of being part of the Chattan Confederation along with Davidson, MacBean, MacGillivray, MacIntyre of Badenoch, MacLean of Dochgarroch, MacPhail, MacQueen, MacThomas, and the others already mentioned.

This doesn't appear to be a listing of clans at all, nor an attempt to list the clans; seems to me a decree giving any person who has already been found guilty in absentia guilty of a crime and/or of harboring a criminal (be it thief or treason) a timeline to make proper amends (i.e. turn themselves in, pay recompense, have someone in favor swear they aren't rebelling). It also lists the appropriate local authorities in which it was "known" some of these "criminals" actually were located. With a moment's read, it seems to be a way to legally seize the lands of dissenters and those in ill-favor by making them criminals in their own right for the crime of not bringing a criminal to justice.

A most interesting document and discussion arising out of it.
Clearly Clan Lindsay was among the good guys (in the eyes of those who drew up the list), hence its omission.
I am curious about the terms Middle March and West March, having previously come across only the book title Middlemarch (one I have not read).
What areas were indicated by these labels?

The Marches were regions on both sides of the border in need of powerful local respônsibility during the time of Alexander III and for long after. The West march comprised much of Dumfriesshire, Kircudbrightshire and Wigtonshire, the most important parts from an administration point of view being Eskdale, Annandale and Nithsdale and some extra bits extending from Eskdale.
