That would be the ones who didn't get accepted at St Andrews presumably...

I don't know - more likely rejects from Oxbridge, especially if mummy & daddy found the flat prices more attractive in Edinburgh.

    Jordan,

I would gladly meet for a drink if I get up to Aberdeen. I've been offered a place at RGU as well as the University of Aberdeen, so there is a decent chance. I think I would prefer Aberdeen to Edinburgh because of the sizes, but it's hard to tell. I prefer the northerly location as well. I'm hoping to visit both cities before I accept an offer. Thank you for your help.

    Madmacs,

do you know anything about their mechanical engineering program? Did you enjoy your time at RGU? I've heard that graduate job prospects are good.

I think my nephew is doing either undergrad and masters mechanical or electrical there... You're in the right area for mechanical though due to the oil industry. Shell used to take a lot of graduates I believe.

It was a good school when I was there... Unless things have changed however I would say a UK degree is harder than a US one...

Even if you do decide to go to that lesser university in the south ( I jest. They are both great) If you make it up to my neck of the woods a drink is in order.
