Will you put the decorative file marks on the spine (typical of Scottish sgians)?
Not purely decorative! As a weapon, they're designed to do maximum flesh damage when "inserted" between an enemy's ribs!

The other problem is the thickness of the blade. It's on the narrow side...
Might try putting on the false edge and shallower notches.
