Here are a few of my poor imitation of an Highland athlete...
Hammer (?)

Sheaf (?)

Close-up of the hoses and highland athletics.... kinda
If I understood you correctly, you wanted something like this from a real (or not) athlete.
P.S. Tried to find a caber, not available where I live....
EDIT: Sorry about the dates on the pics....

Haha...well done Eric...but your "hammer" and "sheaf fork" seem to resemble an old rake handle...
Have you ever tried heavy athletics? If not, you should give it a try...It is addicting!

I don't doubt it's addictive, and it was not as old rake handle.....it was an old broom handle...
I've already planned out that I will pick up highland athletics when I get the time. Being a stay at home dad with 4x girls, I still have at least two years before I can involve myself with something seriously.
If you have any heavy equipment, take pics quick, you'll probably win.

He definitely has big feet and hands for a little guy. He was only about 7 pounds in that photo. 5 months and 15 pounds now. A long, lean baby boy.

And the winner is.....
Well, I was having a hard time deciding between AZWildcat and Minerva's husband, to tell the truth. Then I decided that it might be nice to have photographs of both a piper and a Highland athlete to showcase. So, in the Christmas spirit, I decided to give away TWO pair, and name both the winner. Congrats!
I'll be contacting you each via PM with details.
I appreciate everyone who contributed.

Awesome! And a congratulations to Minerva's husband too. Thank you Matt!
Looking forward to the hose, and to another photo session with the weights.

Matt, In your link to your site and picture of hose. What color are the hose on the left of the red hose in the upper left? A brilliant blue, royal? Is that offered elsewhere as it isn't in the color selection on the right? Thx,
Money is flat and meant to be piled up.
