Sally-Anne, I was disappointed too by another vendor. After seeing a "Order now for delivery by Christmas" next to some items on their website, I went ahead and ordered a Christmas present that was a perfect fit for a friend. I ended up having to purchase a gift card at the last minute from a local clothing store when the order didn't arrive. So it was a little embarassing to give a generic gift, but I'll live. Yes, I know about the holidays and the Christmas rush but I felt a little ripped off by the implied promise. Lesson learned. No matter what they say, order months ahead for a reliable delivery. (Just checked on Jan 3rd, item is still not shipped).

The items were for visiting relatives from abroad who have now returned home. Would the MD or CEO like to respond to this in anyway?
