Well the conselar needed a break she didn't wnat me to wear my kilt, but I did, and she didn't say ANYTHING to me about it. well thanks again, for all your support, and hopefully sometime in the near furture I will be in a bear kilt
what your wearing in that picture is a skirt not a kilt fullstop , kilts (which is gaelic for pleated) are made from a heavy heavy type of worsened wool in scotland and dyed with dyes made for imdeginous plants in scotland anything else is a skirt

Welcome to the board behan, I see you like to come in boots first!

I imagine your somewhat narrow view will doubtless be challenged here.
Still, I hope you enjoy your stay here, this is the finest and most harmonious kilt site in cyberspace.

Have fun and feel free to ask any questions you like about kilts and wearing them!

    Hank,
This behan is behrad from kiltmen.com. He's been stirring up trouble in several personas there and has decided to stir something up here. WDP has started deleting his posts.
He's just here to stir up some trouble. Toss him now and save yourself the hassle later.

I was just about to say the same thing. He is a little troll looking to start trouble. Zap him now.

More to the point...Dallas, pay no attention to this "Behan" fellow. This is not the last time you will have someone like this who seeks to undermine you (and the rest of us) with their narrow point of view. The fact of the matter is that you have taken a MAJOR step toward your own individuality, one that took most of us here much longer than you to achieve. We applaud you for wearing a kilt, but what we are really applauding is your personal strength in stepping out the way you want to instead of the way others want you to. Never let someone distract you from that by nit-picking technical details.

    Dallas,

Living a kilted life is not much different in doing something else. Some one is bound to hold an opposing view. I wouldn't worry about this troll called Behan.

Besides, numerous Scots, young and old, gave me good compliments to my Ulitikilts.

    trolls..

I'm probably one of the more "traditional" posters on the forum, but this troll fellow (forget his user name) was way out of line with his comments -- he's a silly wee mannie who needs awa hame an' bile his heid! I'm not a fan of some of the "non-traditional" kilts, but I would never dare to tell someone they couldn't wear one!

Dallas, welcome, and good on ya for wear your kilt!

    Cheers !

    T.

Don't know how I missed this thread but T90 and Dallas well done.
Hank don't throw Behan off, he's really funny, like the deliberate mistake, 'kilts (which is gaelic for pleated)', hahahahahaha the guy's a grin a minute.
Dallas looking good keep it up, bet your girls the envy of all the girls at that school
    Cheers Rhino
