Where did the hair go?...Where did the time go? In my life those two seem to be related Derek
Well, if you all are anything like me, the receding hairline is replaced by increased ear-hair! The larger my bald spot gets the greater the amount I sprout from the sides!
I don't understand - for 50 years, I neither needed nor wanted ear-hair, but now my very being seems to depend upon it.
Derek, at least you, me and all the other kilties have our dashing good looks to rely on!
Weeelll - once I was walking along the row of shops near us and passed a young couple, she was wearing a narrow strip of denim for a skirt and a couple of handkerchieves worth of fabric for a blouse and it was losing the fight to stay closed - I was almost out of earshot when he enquired 'why doesn't your skirt move like that?' Great picture of you both, Derek! I think that's the first time I've seen Elaine in anything but p***s! I'm with you on "where do the years and the hair go".
Derek, I dug into some old photos and have you beat by one year. This is from 1977 and a "formal" dance I went to. Now younger folk need remember there was absolutely nothing "formal" about the '70's and I was dirt poor. I am wearing an MOD surplus kilt and the tweed jacket and vest from the only suit I owned.
However the most amazing thing to me is that the very pretty girlfriend I had at the time is even more beautiful today and has been my wife for over 30 years. It must have been the power of the kilt because she was way out of my league.
