    They are actually not that large, it may just be a trick of the photography. The three ewes you see in the top photo are between two and three years old and nearly full grown. They weigh probably close to 50lbs and not likely to get much bigger.

    In the second photo they are joined by our wee ram who is not quite a year and still has some growing to do. When full size he may reach 80lbs or so.

    Say are one of the smaller sheep breeds which is perfect for us.

    In any case they make a wonderful backdrop!
