It will be nice to drop that weight, both from the standpoint of the ease of getting into and out of cars, etc...but also because 3-4 of the kilts I've made are just way too small for me, now. Hopefully, I will be able to fit into them again.
Kind of funny....I have a Gold Brothers Scottish National kilt. I got it from MacKinnons kilts because I like the Kilt Lasses that work the MacKinnons booth, and also because I was starting to run out of kilts that I could wear. Well, I didn't look at the kilt that closely when I bought it, and the over-apron is pretty badly not-symmetrical. However, were I to "shrink" and take up about 3 inches of the over apron on the right side, it would in fact be symmetrical, and look a lot better!

Pictures....I'll see if I can't get a couple. Remember that this kilt has been beat up, sweated in, worn in blistering heat and sunshine, thrown in my workout bag and washed about 15x. I've restitched a lot of it and replaced the straps. The pleats don't hang as nicely as they could.
