How 'bout "getting tanked"?
"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

Wow. Okay, I'll need to top this one somehow. LOL! Wow.
Maybe I'll have to tell people at work that when I say I'm going to "get lifted" this weekend, that means I'm wearing a kilt. Technically, it doesn't mean I'm wearing a kilt, but it's a great excuse to throw the primary investigator off of my case.

Normally it is getting dressed for the day. This weekend it is going green without looking like a Leprechaun.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Never think about it, I just do it.

Here in the UK "getting tanked" means that one is imbibing heavily.

It's the same here. Few nonkilties know what a tank kilt is. So this one kind of "locks them up" mentally.

You and me, brother Jock. I don't need a name for it. I just strap the thing on and go about my business.
If people ask, I usually say something about ..."Well, I own it, and it doesn't do me any good sitting in my closet."
