Bobsyouruncle, yes they are the same person and I agree that he is a whiz in relation to tartan history, research and weaving. I always look forward to his posts and his research papers and would love to own a kilt in tartan woven by him. Cheers

I think you are referring to the 77th Regiment of Foot ( Montgomerie's Highlanders ) , if so , I would recommend using the Wilson's colors and sett size . That's probably as close as you will get .
