I have only two right now-- a small cross on the inside of each wrist. One is a Celtic cross, though. Both are simple lines as they're small. I wanted dark blue (considered the sort of blue that woading comes out to be, but realized it would probably just look like the ink was faded to most people), but my artist assured me black would wear better.
They don't exactly go on display... but, you know, they're on my wrists. I want ink for me and don't really care what other people think, so I worry more about whether *I* can look at it easily than whether other people can. For the most part I'd prefer something I can cover if I wish to so I have the option (I like options.
).
I have ideas for others if I can figure out where to put them. That's the hardest part. None Celtic, though... but I considered it. Just not sure I could come up with a design that means enough to me that I'd be happy with it on my body for the rest of my life-- I couldn't just "pick something" for the sake of having something Celtic-themed... I need to see it/imagine it and feel like it's something I couldn't live without.
{But it's piercings I tend to like better... now just need to get together the energy and funds for the next ones I want as they'll be a bit of "projects" (will require ordering the jewelry, fitting the piercings to the jewelry, letting them heal with other jewelry, and then adjusting my chosen jewelry as required before insertion) and will also be long-healing (cartilage).}
Here's tae us - / Wha's like us - / Damn few - / And they're a' deid - /
