    Nice and thorough article Blu!

    Before I bought my first flashes, I saw people talking about making them for much cheaper. I thought there was no way you could make them and have them be correct. Then, my flashes came, and I thought, "That's it?!? I should have just made them." There's really nothing to them!

    That's exactly the process I went through. I now prefer the home made ones. Cheaper, more options, works better.

    They sell everything you'll need at Wal*Mart. I'm curious to know what you think. You just may discover improvements.

    I wore a pair of these all day today instead of some sewn ones I have. As an experiment, I'm thinking of getting a bit of red Phentex, fluffing it up like fur, and using that instead of the ribbon. I'm hoping to post some photos soon.

    Also, there is double sided velcro available. But this stuff sticks to the socks as well as itself. I didn't like that.
