As I've only three to wear right now, I don them usually Tuesday's (when I go to work),and then Friday-Sunday.
Hopefully will have enough to rotate them daily for the summer and enjoy it more often.

To Highland Games, ceilidh's, Caledonian Society meetings, all family and clan functions, holidays, dates with my bride; social parties, functions and events; all events requiring anything dressier than jeans or Dockers (I do not own any Saxon dress clothes); sometimes just to go to town shopping or for a business appointment. My doctor expects me to be in a kilt for my semi-annual check-up. I always wear a kilt when entertaining guests at home.
I did not wear a kilt to jury duty calls (2) earlier this year. In my very small and very conservative community, it could have been a distraction from the proceedings. I could conceivably even have been held in contempt.

I think you would find it quite the reverse when it comes to everyday wear ... but whatever, as you say .. dont worry about it and just wear it like you would a pair of trousxxx.

You could quite easily be the "only kilted person in town", in Scotland too!

I voted Monthly. I tend to have a "special occasion" but I try to have a special reason at least monthly.

Well, I answered "a couple of times a week" but it depends more on the weather and what I will be doing that day. I sometimes go for a week or so without wearing one; other times I'll wear one everyday for a week or more. This time of year (spring-early-summer) I am inclined to wear one more often than less.

I'm kilted more than not but it depends on what the plan is for the day. It's easier to say that I tend not to wear them when I think I would damage, soil or when I feel that it wouldn't be the best thing to wear at that time. That said if I'm wearing a tie I'm wearing a kilt.

I chose the "Monthly" option because that probably reflects the number of times per year that I wear a kilt. The occasions are Scottish themed events and other times when a kilt might be indicated. For formal events I will almost always wear a kilt.

This was my FB status update yesterday, with very positive feedback.
So I have pretty much decided that I am no longer going to wear cargo shorts or the like for spring and summer weather. I will be kilted on days that I'm not working. I have to wear compression socks and they just look weird with shorts.
