To prevent anyone, who doesn't get the book, from a Branson backflip, check the link. Mr. Fiddes off of Scotweb and D.C. Dalgliesh provides a great guide on the Scotweb site.

Seasaidhlinne I do hope you get well soon.

Also, that tie is a "dress" Campbell, which I do not believe is officially accepted by the head Campbell folks. I bought one ignorant and unawares many years ago, then learned that it was frowned upon by more knowledgable folk. This even tho my heart was in the right place. I dinnae wear it anymore, just the official tartan as approved by the MacCailein Mor (Chief of Clan Campbell).

I also thanks Kiltedrennie for the PM, and agree that he went above and beyond, and thus deserves the book. I don't really need the book as I have this forum .

Thanks for the generous offer though!

    Cheers,

    Cameron

I am new. Didn't get a PM but agree that Kiltedrennie has shown good sportsmanship. The book would by a nice way to connect with past systems of information dissemination. The site is an excellent and expanding work, but the book would be a good quickstart guide. So I toss my hat in the ring fully expecting Kiltedrennie to be ultimately victorious.

Did I mention my car died and the boilers on the fritz?

I think kiltedrennie went above and beyond as far as getting the newbies involved, so if he pm's me his details I'll get it off to him...

Apparently nobody is too happy withthe Campbell's, so I'll open that up to newbies if they're interested too.

Nothing against Campbell's, I quite enjoyed my stay in Inveraray. I like my ties to be orange but I might be the only one there.
