Since March 4, 2004, I have ordered 4 kilts. Two have arrived and I have been wearing them almost constantly. I still have 2 on order. Now I think having 3 on order at the same time is a sign of an addition problem. I, too, think of value in relation to kilts.
I even stated in a thread, started by Jimmy, that I had no need for a more formal kilt, but have found myself ordering a tradional style kilt, shortly thereafter, from Scotland. (4yds., thought)
I think that my wife has caught the bug too. When I put on some pants the other day, she asked why I was not wearing a kilt. I was going to climb on the roof to fix a leak. Also, she was really into the idea of have a traditional style kilt (She doen't care for non-tartan kilts, but I'm working on the saffron.). She has also committed to sewing me a kilt, possibly this winter.
Like David, I too am influenced by the discussion on the forum. I have visions of tartans dancing through my head.
