    Yeah, unlike some snobbish traditionalists say, it is not wise to start in the mid-price area at $100+ - let alone duty and import tax, especially if you have to get used to kilt wearing. Made to measure means non-returnable, non-restockable and made to measure is not necessary until you got to that point you are hooked. I started with a HoS PV in Heritage of Scotland tartan. It was comfortable while standing but too tight while sitting. 44" was the right size but for false measurement, the kilt is not to blame and you get what you pay for means you don't be scamed. It was well made and for 34 quid with 30% off, reasonable priced for a starter kilt.

    Sport Kilts are great as long as they fit snug and don't overlap at the right edge of the apron, which makes the logo wrinkle up. Adjustability without compromising the look would be great.

    Let's not overlook Amerikilt at $109.00---my oldest and my newest kilts are from them and I'm well pleased with them. The more I wear them the more comfortable they get.
