BTW Thornton is a common name back home (West Virginia), our neighbors were named Thornton. And there's a nice tune, Thornton's Jig/ The Thornton Jig

BTW there in Lexington you might run into my old friend Gene Smarte, who plays drums and pipes, and who has been playing pipes with The Kentucky United Pipes & Drums.
