Wearing it upside down

I've done that myself. Before I got a tartan kilt, I had no choice but a solid colored kilt but what I wore on top varied widely. Last October, I wore a Pendleton wool shirt with my green Kiltman Kilt to hand out candy and I called myself the "Upside Down Scott".

I've been doing it for years. Seems like a natural thing to do when wearing a solid-colour kilt. But then again, I'm a plaid flannel shirt kind of guy, so I'd be wearing that sort of shirt with any other solid-colour garment like trousers anyway.

Tobus...love the spats...never thought to do those with a kilt.

Okay, derail aside...I too have been known to wear a tartan shirt with a solid coloured kilt depending on the activities that day.

I notice a certain look most people who wear kilts seem to share. It's sort of a confident look, an independent look.

It's a look that says "Your opinion of me is none of my business."
