My employer is really big on Microsoft certifications. Every quarter one of my major goals is to pass a certification exam. It's a major percentage of my quarterly bonus. The kilt is coming up, I promise. Today I retook an exam I failed last month, just in time to make the end of the quarter deadline.
I wore my kilt to the exam center today. Last time I didn't wear it.
I passed the test with a score of 850. A passing score is 700. My score last month was 675. Sure, I studied more but I honestly feel it was the good karma from the kilt!
The manager of the test center though the kilt was awesome and proceeded to tell me about the kilt he would hire for an upcoming wedding. He really "geeked" out when he noticed my Star Trek insignia kilt pin.
