SailorTats, I assure you that Rocky HAS changed the design (and stepped it up). They are NOT sewn down to the bottom anymore. They are made like a traditinal kilt with some (understandable) shprtcuts for budgetary reasons. From the outside they look like a traditional kilt (PRESSED pleats, NOT sewn-down pleats passed the fell).

Plus one about the fabric. It is MUCH higher quality than the SportKilt flannel-like material.
