Agree to all of the above. It got me thinking of my western (non dinner plate) buckles.
I do wear solid or tone on tone ( dobby stripe) western shirts with my tartan kilts a lot as they fit well, are long sleeved and look good without vest or tie.
Have been thinking of making belt buckle wires for these two buckles to fit my kilt belts:

Wondering where these would fall in the rabble opinions.
