I wasn't referring to any one incident in particular, but since you brought it up... everyone didn't agree, that I blew it out of proportion, just some people who are vocal members on this forum. I won't deny that I have a hard time dropping it. When someone says something offensive about people that are important to me, I don't let it slide, and when a thread is deleted and no resolution has been reached, the offending person will just do the same thing again. As I said before... saying "I'm sorry." is not always an apology. When you follow up with "Ligten up." it is a transferance of blame and a refusal to accept responsibility for what you have done.

With what just happened in the Madonna thread in the Rkilts section, I would say that it is easy to see that there is a bit of the middle school mentality prevalent.

I agree with you on that point. Again, if we aren't allowed to carry our disagreements and arguments through to some kind of resolution we will never understand the intricacies of some of our cultural differences and the same problems will just reappear.
