I hear complaints over here in America about service all the time. However, my three hand made kilts were made by Kilt Makers that were SUPER and PROFESSIONAL from beginning to End.

Three nice kills John and it was well worth the wait (but not the frustration!). My favorite is the Black Isle. I love the sheen you get on Marton Mills Jura cloth.
The Kilt is my delight !

No complaints with my Kilt maker. Always super and professional throughout and one of the reasons why I keep going back... It was the drawn out provision of the incorrect fabric that let it down. But as I say, I'm more than happy with the finished Kilt.

    John,
    Congratulations on 3 great kilts.
I've seen the Dutch Friendship Tartan in person and it has really nice colors.
Good to hear from you again!

The very same... She's a lovely Lady and very talented fingers too.

By the way, if you fancy a meet, Rumney Folk Fest is provisional for Sat 21 Sep. That's not far from you. I have to jiggle a few things but it's looking good that family and me will be there for the day.

See the Ashbourne Games thread for more chat about it.

It'd be nice to split a quart with you.

    English Blokes Talk

Well done. Thought I rambled on.Atleast you keep the thread.
Am now rethinking this Black Cornish Kilt made in glasgow thing.
answer might be 8 yard 16oz Dark Tartan or high waisted unused ex military.
I want something warm and hard wearing for winter.
Speaking of service I buy fishing gear , chain and engine spares overnight by Phone and Plastic Santa payment.
That dummy sgien dubh from Scotweb amazed me.
Despatch scotland 4 pm. arrive Weymouth south coast UK 9am by overnight parcel post Guarenteed Delivery. Costly at £5 postage but I needed it in a hurry as I was going away.
Seems as if that section of Scotwebb was run by one Swedish Girl in a wearhouse.
Still I got the goods fit for purpose in a hurry. Roddy

Good Grief, John! No wonder you've been away- you've been kilt shopping the whole time!

Lovely new additions to the ever-increasing collection. You'll be rivaling Hamish's collection any day now.
