Well, I suppose it is relative, too. I lived in the Florida Keys - elevation about 5 ft. (changes with the tide). From that perspective Highlands would be the high lands.

Incidentally, you can use the Keys as the canary-in-the-cage for "global warming" (if one assumes it exists). My purpose is not to get political here, but to point out that the Keys will be the first place to go under if the oceans ever rise.
