Sorry Derek, won't be able to fit it in this year.
Some other time perhaps.
Have fun.

Sounds fab but unless we score a significant lottery win twixt now and then. . .
What I want to know is what that thing [which looks suspiciously like KiltedRennie's avatar] is doing at the bottom of the poster?

Derek: Regrettably, I won't be able to make it for all the usual reasons, each of which involves distance.
But, I love those Snappy Sneakers you're wearing. They look great, and are so cool! They are especially sharp with those Ecru (white, ssshhh) hose. I may have to get a pair.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That's Derek's trade mark. You may have to get his permission to be able to use it!
Derek, while I'm here, I won't be able to make it as I'm on convalesence after an operation. If there's no chance of pushing the date back a couple of weeks for me, then it will have to be next year. With all the XMarkers saying next year, you will probably need a bigger venue, if everybody turns up!
