I love the pictures, Ian! I didn't know you actually helped make the kilt you wore. Very impressive! I've never seen such a comfortable looking and stylish contemporary kilt! I'll put up pictures of Kilt Kamp soon. I still feel like I'm on the road and I've been home a day already. I guess I need another glass of wine or something. LOL! I dunne ken.

    Safe travels, OK?

@Robert -- Beautiful work! I was especially impressed by the pull-out leather straps to hold things. The color of hemp material was perfect with the leather, IMHO. Ian wore it with pride, too!

    Thanks Jon, and Robert,
I've been wearing it since leaving Hamilton College late yesterday afternoon. Huh! Resent taking it off for bed, he said. Well, last night I got into my room in the Red Carpet Inn in Scranton, started reading a couple of menus for some dinner, crashed right out, and woke up about 4.30, of course still wearing my RKilt. And tonight, walking out for dinner in the rural fringe of Lexington VA off the I81, completely comfortable. Still enjoying my visit to this continent.
Jon, those kilt hangers I was talking about I got from Celtic Croft.
    All the best,
    Grizzled Ian

What a great thread and a great kilt. Well done Ian and Robert.
I'm just trying to be the person my dog thinks I am.
