Simon.
I've reconsidered. I'll bring the Cameron Kilt with me for you to have a shuftie at, but I won't wear it.

Lol chicken. Too many Cameron's for ya huh! Huh!
Seriously I would be very pleased to see it either way. Just trying to decide on the beer options for the tasting, some mighty fine local beers are available, I think I may have to sample them to make sure they are up to the mark.
So which of your splendid kilt(s) will make the journey to the land of my fathers?

hehehehe...
No, it's not that I'll be outnumbered, that doesn't worry me in the slightest
It's just it's a meet-up and there will be pictures which will inevitably end up posted here. In respect to recent forum conflagrations and in deference to those members who believe strongly that there should be "entitlement" to the tartans we choose, I'll refrain. I have no claim to a Cameron tartan and so would rather not be photographed in it. And I do have one or two other kilts which may be deemed more appropriate.
Doesn't mean I won't wear the Cameron elsewhere, just not here.
I'm bringing Lancaster Brewery Beers by the way, Haven't decided which one(s) yet.

That's perfectly understandable John, best not too ruffle anyone's feathers at the moment.
Looking forward to the event, it will be a great meet up, did Derek say it was free beer all night? Hehehe

Good news people...
Carol Ellis (formerly Fitzherbert), Kilt maker to the stars (well... me an' Guardsman anyway) and with nigh-on a thousand kilt notches on her sewing box... is coming to the gig.
She only lives up the road.
Hurrah!!
Hummmm... now what kilt to wear?... better not pick one she hasn't made for me...
