My new kilt (here), that just arrived last week, took about 9 months. Again, as others mentioned, I was aware of the progress and realized that good things take time from a busy and in-demand kilt maker. When it comes to the beautiful kilt that I got, it was well worth the wait. A short wait for a life time of enjoyment.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. I'm currently jonesing for my 5 yard kilt in the R'lyeh Sett. It's been over one and a half months, with a good wait longer.

Just shy of five months. Waiting in the queue - the price you pay for an artisan. Seemed like it was longer.
