Ken: Beautiful tartan! It reminds me of my autumn days in upstate NY, Vermont, and NH.
Very nice kilt. Did Dalgliesh make it for you? I like the pleating, too, but I probably would have pleated it to sett to maintain that "fall color look" rear round (if you get my drift). Can't wait to see pics of you in it, especially in an autumn setting. Congratulations.

Mookien - yes, I had Dalgliesh produce the kilt, in addition to the fabric itself. Helen (the kiltmaker at Dalgliesh) did such an awesome job with my last two kilts, I was delighted to set her upon this one, too. Though I originally did contemplate pleating to the sett, I chose stripe, to make the contrast starker between the front and back of the kilt. (Besides - I already have Buchanans, with similar colors, pleated to the sett. I can wear those when I want more "loud".) LOL
I'll be giving this kilt it's first workout in about 8 weeks, when I head to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, in October.
