Well done, Matt!
Absolutely beautiful! Now, that's how I like seeing the Macpherson dress tartan! These are the same precise colours in which 'Old Cluny' (Ewen Macpherson of Cluny, 21st Chief of the Clan Macpherson) wore in the latter part of the 19th-century. The tartan can also be seen on Lachlan Macpherson of Strathmashie and Catlodge, 'Lachlan Mor,' Champion of Scotland, in Kenneth MacLeay's portrait, as well as in the portrait of Lachlan Macpherson of Glentruim, Laird of Gelntruim, and Ewen Henry Davidson Macpherson of Cluny, 22nd Chief of the Clan Macpherson and 'Old Cluny's' son. The vast majority of Macphersons wear the dress tartan in the colours in which William Anderson and Sons began selling, with the double purple/magenta lines. I absolutely love seeing the double red in this particular version. The fellow Macpherson cousin, whom commissioned these two beautiful kilts, knows exactly what he's doing!

I must have both of these tartans!
Cheers,
