I hope everyone understands that there is more to this story.

It is not as sad a tale as it first appears. I will be inviting Gordon to come and tell us about this new venture as soon as he returns from Scotland.
I think our members are going to like what he has to say.

I JUST visited the website and saw the new layout. I completely missed this development until now. I hope Chapter Two is a good chapter!

I note that they are still doing custom weaving of tartan, with minimums in the 30 meter range.

Hmm...this makes me very interested. I wonder if a special run of 16oz Chattan (weathered maybe?) might be in "order." I know that many chaps here are fond of that sett.

Yes, I just got a note from Gordon this morning in response to a note I sent him yesterday congratulating him on the new venture. I commented on his background on the new website, mentioning the fine Clan Colquhoun Tartan he used. Well done Gordon! We look forward for him to join us here at XMTS Steve...thank you for inviting him.....
