Welcome to Scotland. I feel confident you will enjoy your visit. Colonsay is a beautiful place where you should be able to chill out and relax. Edinburgh, well its just a big city, though still worth visiting once in a lifetime.

You'll have a grand time!
I visited Colonsay on my St. Columba Voyage trip shown in my signature box. A delightful island!
Edit: Well, you did! See I was right!

This part of the trip was real special for me. Oronsay priory,a walk from colonsay. When the tide is down. For me this is the birthplace of clan macfie. And the last photo was taken back on colonsay where the last clan leader was murdered. And in 4 days macfie parliament will be over and I hope many will make the pilgrimage. We planned our trip before we knew about the gathering

Spectacular pictures! Thanks for posting. They give a glimpse of both modern and ancient Scotland. They would be even GREATER with individual captions, so we know upon what we are gazing. We're never going to let you relax, are we?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

When I can get the military tattoo pics from my wife's camera I will share. It is something to behold and if anyone gets the chance. Go!
