I can imagine somebody saying "hey I saw online photos of a guy wearing a Prince Charlie with a t-shirt and bare legs... it's awesome... I think that's what I'll do for my upcoming wedding!"
But seriously congrats on the PC... there's nothing quite like "dressing to the nines" at a nice Evening function.
Good one Richard, I can always count on a good laugh from you fine XMarkers. That's funny, and no doubt true. Oh, the horror of it all!
I figure the stuff I need to go formal at a reasonable cost to be around 250. That's a tux shirt, studs, tie, belt, buckle, sporran, and balmoral. I have my eye on a balmoral somewhat different from what you generally see, but I like it.

Kilted tonight, very informally, for the local St. Andrews Society annual BBQ, followed by the quarterly meeting. Supposed to be 80+F, muggy, with potential thunderstorms, wind, rain, etc. So run home, kilt up, head to Albany (the big city around here).
Enjoy yer day!
Frank
