    Just my preference mind. Pleating to the yellow would be my choice... I think stripe pleating needs a bold vertical to alleviate the overwhelming horizontal that can manifest.


    A Johnstone modern kilt, pleated to the "gold" stripe.

    Hi English Bloke,

    Thanks very much for those photos, they show that the yellow is not too much, and pleating to the yellow stripe really works well. I love the modern colours too, beautiful kilt indeed.

    I mocked up an image to give myself an idea of how it would turn out too.
