That's one big "well done"! There's nothing like the satisfaction of a successful attempt at something you've never done before.
Seattle is up in that top left-hand corner of the continental 48, isn't it?
You've got Steve, the forum owner and proprietor of Freedom Kilts, just over the border in BC, and member Okiwen, another who makes his own kilts, up in that neck of the woods. I bet they're applauding too, and would likely be happy to field queries you may have.
