Colorado weather is probably a bit more forgiving than where you're at, Canuck...but there's no reason a little slushy snow should keep you from riding home! I'm hoping that the weather this winter stays balmy enough that I'll only have to put my bike away for only a couple days at a time.

All but two of mine are put away for the winter. That's the funny thing about this time of year up here, you can go hunting in the morning at -4 degrees and go for a ride on the bike in the afternoon at 20 degrees.

Thanks Robert for the reminder. It's either this weekend or next, especially if the bike is going to get a cleaning as part of winterizing.

It is amazing how fast our temperatures have dipped into single digits

I've been checking the weather on an hourly basis, I'm planning on riding to Toronto on my bike this weekend. Working on the best way to pack my kilt as I will be attending the opera Saturday night. Monday I will be buying leather for a customers kilt (I'm trying to make this kilt related as much as possible.)
Once the bike is put away for winter I plan to do the maintenance whilst wearing my work kilt
Thanks for the replies gents, it seems I'm not alone in a passion for two wheels.

You Canadians have been kind enough to share some of your embracing fall weather (including a few flakes) with those of us in Minnesota this past week. Just finished tucking the boat in for the winter. I guess I'll put away the lightweight kilts as well. Tweeds and 16 oz. wool are looking pretty good for the next few months.

Perhaps you ARE in a small group with your passion for riding in the snow Robert, but not for riding in general!

I can say that my P/V is getting worn less than my 16oz wool these days. Even 5-yards of heavy wool is nippy at times! A tank may be in the future down the road...

Certainly not alone in your passion for two wheels. Fortunately where I livee I can enjoy two wheels AND kilts all year - just not as a simultaneous activities.

We do have four seasons here at the beach (in Delaware) but there are plenty of days in the 50s and 60s in the winter months.

    The bike is snow adverse:

and so am I when it comes to two wheels. Of course, if you want to emulate Robert and his imitation of a popsicle, well......

By the way Robert, you look cold, damn cold.
