Keep it up Derek, the more you step out in your kilt the more natural it feels.
In a related thought, I've noticed recently that in dim light the baggy shorts some guys wear give them almost the same sillouette as if they were wearing a kilt. That explains why sometimes people don't seem to even realize I'm wearing a kilt. I also find it extremely humorous that some guys will say they could never wear a kilt when the shorts they're wearing are almost the same length and have almost the same "drape" as my kilt. Look around and see if you don't see the same phenomenon on some of the younger guys near you. Even the colors and patterns of some of the basketball type shorts are somewhat "kilt like".

Indeed. What really gets me is a the "Capri pants for men." I'd much rather wear a MUG.

Don't get me started on the capri pants for men... I've seen them here and there, and every time I instinctively look up, half-expecting to see butterfly hair clips in the guy's hair, or a little pink bucket and shovel for making sand castles...
Sounds like you've got yourself a great woman there, Derek.

What an encouragement to me because of all I and my wife have been through together the last few days as we work through this change in our lives.

Thanks again guys for all you comments. I intend going out at some point again today in my kilt. Will post the outcome.
Freelander ... I made a Chilli Con Carne.
Another beer I can highly recommend by the way is 'Old Speckled Hen' brewed by the Greene King Brewery. Anyone else in the UK a member of CAMRA (campaign for real ale). Derek

I wonder if there is a North American counterpart, Derek? I would certainly such a noble campaign!
Cheers!

Around here there's an organisation called the New England Real Ale Exhibition (NERAX), which puts on a tasting once a year. Tons of local brews, very cheap, all lined up in an exhibition hall. The event goes on for a week, with the brewers and brews on rotation.
Andrew.
