Kilted in Pensacola Florida

Today my wife and I went to the Naval Air Station Museum and the Pensacola Lighthouse
and Museum in Pensacola Florida. I wore my Sportkilt unofficial US Air Force tartan, a
blue golf shirt, SWAT boots, and a non-descript hat I purchased from Camping World. After
our tours we went to McGuire's Irish Pub for a meal. Kilt acceptance was fine with the only
comment being "I wish I had one of those" coming from a young man who was a museum
volunteer. I will try to post pictures. of the event.

We had a son that was stationed at Eglin AFB many years ago and spent a lot of days on the beaches in Destin and Mary Ester. I have more photos of today but these have been a pain in the rear to load. By the way, I wasn't trying to make a fashion statement, just being comfortable. Man, I am so fat and out of shape! Got to remedy that.

Larry: Thanks for posting the pics. It's great to put faces on names. I spent a lot of time in the FL panhandle many years ago. I even worked with some of the folks at Eglin AFB for a while. I also used to do a lot of canoeing down the rivers that flow into the Gulf from AL. I hope you can post more of those McGuire's Irish Pub photos.

Here is another pic from Maguire's. There is over 1.8 million dollars, at last inventory,
on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. All signed and donated by the patrons. Even
even Bob Hope has one there.
