Im sorry i dont have a pic i dont want to ruin my kilts so i dot wear them to work but I was wearing my own handmade black flannel kilt when i went looking for a job. I currently work part time at a horse training center, i got it because i was desperate for a job and told them i could do any of their crap work. My kilt was not ironed, but they thought it was cool. I now work there and sure enough i do the crap work and usually smell somewhat like horse poo every day. Once i get a canvas utility kilt i will very likely wear it to work.

Ok, although I posted this photo on the "Kilted Fridays..." thread, I thought it also belonged here so......
This is at my workplace, a big box store, after removing my apron after working just over eight hours almost nonstop. Taken by a friend, you'll have to excuse the wrinkled appearance, for I was a bit tired. Another note - this was the very first time, in public, wearing a kilt ( yes, I know it was a utilikilt, but first steps XMTS'ers... ).
So, for a Tribal man, wearing a Kilt, at the type of work I do, how'd I do XMTS ?

Do you wear your kilt at work? Show your pics!!
Do I wear my kilt to work? Well, yes, but maybe not within the meaning of the act. I rely on my pension for the regular income. . .but the irregular income comes from playing pipes at weddings, funerals, and so forth. I might not get paid if I didn't wear the kilt.
This one was a St Patrick's Day wedding last year.

Cheers,
-John-
(waiting to see if I can actually post a picture without exploding the website.)

I also don't have a photo to show but I will work on it. I can't wear my kilt in the Emergency Department since I don't want to ruin it with splatter from things I shouldn't discuss in polite company (I know, TMI, TMI...) but when I give lectures or go to conferences I wear my kilt with a business suit equivalent jacket +/- waistcoat depending on how formal / dapper I want to look. It still beats the pants off (pun intended--forgive me) any standard suit for comfort, style, and as someone on this forum's tag goes: swish+swagger=swoon. The kilt may sometimes garner unusual comments in the states, but I have never once regretted wearing it anywhere, and find myself wearing it more and more often. Love it.
