FYI - Fair Isles Sweaters on Sale at Lands' End

I've ordered a couple of these and am very happy with the fit and quality. I find they compliment a tweed jacket/kilt combo very well or look rather smart on their own, coupled with a kilt.

After seeing the original post above I went and ordered one of the Fair Isle sweaters from Lands End. It arrived yesterday and I am very pleased with the look, fit and feel of it. I realized, of course from the price, that it was not a hand knit sweater from Fair isle but was a little disappointed to see that the tag read "made in China". However, I am happy with it and plan to wear it tonight to a San Francisco kilt night.

I'm glad you're pleased with your purchase Sailortats. Mine has stood up quite well to the rigors of regular wear. I hand-wash it with a little Woolite and lay it flat to dry of course and it still looks new and has maintained its shape.
