A very nice find. You obviously have much better thrift shops than I have access to.

Thanks Tomak, the trick is to go frequently. I have to admit, today was a good day. I also snagged a lovely Harris tweed sports coat in a purple heather hue that won't require a single stitch from my tailor, a wonderfully high end pair of brogues, a glen check tweed waistcoat and two tattersall shirts, one of which compliments the Harris Tweed perfectly.

    So...about my $4 stick...anyone?

Do you have a relation under the age of ten that wears a kilt? Could make quite the accessory for a wee kiltie while attending the games with dad.

Personally, I wouldn't touch a thing. You have a fine walking stick, probably vintage, and just the thing for an afternoon stroll. It all depends on how it falls to hand as you put just a bit (not too much) of weight on it.

Yes wonderful find ,and looks to be a one piece construction, very rare. I have thought of making a matching set of Daddy and me cromach for a dad and child. This picture has sparked my interest even more.thank you for sharing.

It's very nice. I'd leave it as is.
