I have been developing a new interest in cufflinks, which up until now I have only worn with formal wear. I am not a fan of French Cuffs, but when I shop for shirts I have begun to see an interesting feature that of cuffs with both a button and a second hole so cufflinks can be worn with it or not. Up until recently, the only shirts I ever saw like this were the rental shirts at formal shops, which always seemed odd to me as they came with cufflinks.
I have found mixed opinions on wearing cufflinks with cuffs other than french, but have been considering seeing if I could get at least some of my shirts set up with that second button hole to offer the option.
